We got a blog!

Hi everyone! As you can see, Qwitter is now utilizing Tumblr, one of the coolest blog services out there.  We’ll now be using our blog to inform Qwitter users about updates, changes and answers to frequently asked questions.

With introductions out of the way, let’s talk about what’s going on with Qwitter.  You all have probably noticed that the emails sent out to Qwitter users have changed.  Instead of receiving a single email every time someone unfollows you, you’ll now only be sent a maximum of one email a day, with a list of people who have unfollowed you.  It doesn’t matter if you lose one follower a day, or 200; you will only be sent a maximum of one email a day.  We were concerned that we were looking more like a spammer than a valuable service.  This should limit the amount of time we spend in your inboxes. :)

New features aside, a concern has arisen as a result of the new emails: Why can I no longer see that last tweet I tweeted before someone unfollowed me.  Regarding the first concern, we have terminated this feature of Qwitter. Research indicated that the last tweet had little to nothing to do with why someone would choose to stop following another user.  The last tweet feature was also causing some undue stress amongst users.  Our service causes a bit of grief sometimes, so we like to keep things as cheery as possible around here. :)

For those who want more emails, you’ll be able to get them when we roll out the premium service upon completion of phase three.

Keep it real tweeps!
